THE VIRGINIA SOCIETY TRUST FUNDS

1.  THE HOWARD L. HAMILTON FUND

Disbursement is made directly to the Virginia Society. The Board of Managers of the Virginia Society determine how the income is disbursed to the Society from the Trustee shall be spent. This trust fund has been used to help pay the operating expenses of the Virginia Society.

2.  THE GEORGE KNIGHT–KENNETH C. PATTY MEMORIAL TRUST FUND

There are six purposes of the Knight–Patty Fund, which are set forth in the Declaration of Trust.  Expenditures are made by the Knight - Patty Trustees directly.  This trust fund had been used to support special projects of the Virginia Society and its chapters.

3.  THE  REV. GENE THOMAS MEMORIAL FUND

This fund serves as seed money to initiate or aid activities that promote the values of the Virginia Society.  Funds are awarded annually by the Virginia Society President to chapters that will particularly benefit from the award, such as chapters that are new, small or located in rural areas of the state


4.  THE MARK SHERIDAN BRENNAN, Jr. MEMORIAL TRUST FUND

This fund is used to provide financial support for the youth programs of the Virginia Society and public school programs within Virginia on the topic of the American Revolution.
