- Participant 100% Flag Program - Chapter recognition of citizens and businesses properly displaying the Flag of the United States
- History Day Support - Chapter provided judges and a team leader for Virginia History Day
- Grave Registration - Chapter registered graves of Revolutionary War Patriots for Patriots aligned with new members and members submitting supplemental applications
- Presenting War Service and Military Service Medals - Medals were presented to Chapter members who are military veterans or War Veterans
- Forgotten Patriots - Patriots not previously recognized by NADAR or NASSAR are "Forgotten" Patriots. The Chapter identified six (6) Forgotten Patriots in 2016

- SAR Presentations to Civic Associations - This is an outreach initiative where Chapter members give a talk about SAR to a variety of Civic organizations such as Rotary and Lions.
